The majority of your group members are already in other groups on Facebook. And they’re eager to learn new things and they have problems that need solving.

That’s why, what I recommend before everything else, is for you to join the biggest communities in your niche, and start to genuinely help people inside those groups. Just be an active member:

Start conversations: Ask questions about well known problems, ask for help, even if you don’t really need it, so people start engaging with you.

Share your breakthroughs: If you have some tips you want to share based on your own experience in solving a problem, share it in the group.

Respond to posts: Most of the time people will ask for help themselves inside these groups. If you can help, do so. Share your strategies, your tips and tricks and do it in a visual way (add images, videos to your posts)

Obey the group rules: You must read and respect the group’s admins. So don’t self promote unless you’ve spoken with the group owners, or if what you’re sharing is something that is only on your profile, or facebook page.

Your next mission, if you choose to accept it, is to start being an active member inside these communities. This will do wonders for you!

You will build your own brand, people will respect and trust your opinion, and they will perceive you as a source of knowledge.

On top of that, facebook groups give special badges like Visual storyteller, Conversation starter, etc.

Starting the entrepreneur journey can be a really painful process, and it’s definitely not for everyone. You need to be well organized, committed to your success, and be willing to fail and lose.

Because it will happen.

And the faster that happens, the better it is for you, and your business! So fail often, and fail fast! Because as long as you do that, it means you’re taking action!

What you’re doing while you’re helping out in the groups, is building your preeminence.

That is a beautiful thing.

Because people will naturally start listening to what you have to say.

They will start following you naturally. Add you as a friend, message you, and follow your posts in the newsfeed.

Next, you’ll want to create a facebook page. A rather simple process. Goes like this:

1. Go to the upper right corner and click on the little arrow pointing down

2. Select “Manage Pages”

3. Click “Create a Page” button

4. Select one of the two options for the type of page you want to create

5. Give the page a name and select a page category (the page name is really important, and should be something related to your interest/niche – preferably a Problem/Solution based name)

6. Upload a cover and a profile image for your page
